Their latest album Suck It and See sees the band exploring different styles and Alex Turner said: "I think the new album is a balance between our first three. There's nothing about taxi ranks or anything like that, but there's a bit of the standpoint I had on those early songs and the sense of humor, but also there's a bit of the 'Humbug' stuff which is kind of off in the corners."

Lady Gaga cant control her gongs!

Gaga picked up four gongs at the MTV Europe Music awards including two for her hit single “Born This Way" but she had real problems trying to hang on to them, so she off loaded them to her bouncer.

"Born this way" was named Best Song and Best Video, while Gaga beat Beyonce, Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry to  Best Female artist.

Gaga and her reputation for bizarre costumes didn't disappoint and was wearing a metal dress  with an over-sized hat covering her face.

She joked about having Botox treatments as she accepted the award, telling the crowd, “Thank you so much, I love you so much. I’m so grateful. I’m really smiling right now, but I know you can’t tell.”

Taking questions from the press she would only answer three questions that had been pre-approved by her management team.

Rihanna set to headline Wireless Festival in 2012

The Wireless Festival held in Hyde Park has seen huge names take the stage previously with the likes of Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas.

Rihanna last year put in a mammoth performance of gigs including T in The Park and V Festival which command massive crowds, so she should be able to handle the Wireless Festival.

The rest of the line up hasnt been anounced yet but that wont slow the ticket sales which start today (8th of November).

Rihanna also said that she would love to play at Glastonbury saying: "I'd love to play Glastonbury. I have heard so many things about what happens there."

" I love rock music. I love Kings of Leon and The Prodigy. You could have nightmares about that guy with the clown face and the weird hair. That's a look to scare little kids, right?"

"But the music is awesome. I like the more traditional rock bands, too: Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. I think I could rock the stage at Glastonbury, no question."

"I know since Jay-Z played they are open to a lot more R&B. And 'Umbrella' would be the perfect song for that place too."

Fleet Foxes concert Barcelona 2011-11-27

Fleet Foxes are a folk rock band which formed in Seattle, Washington. The band came to prominence in 2008 with the release of their second EP, Sun Giant. Both Sun Giant and their eponymous debut album received much critical praise and reviewers often noted their use of refined lyrics and vocal harmonies.

The inaugural Uncut Music Award has gone to Seattle's Fleet Foxes for a debut album which the editor of Uncut magazine, Allan Jones, describes as a "unanimous choice" among the judges.

He said "There was a general consensus that there was no other album like Fleet Foxes this year. It showed impeccable musicianship, and though you could trace its antecedents, it sounded totally unique. Fleet Foxes was just a glorious debut."

Frontman Robin Pecknold to say: "It's awesome. It's crazy, I never expected to be in contention for this kind of thing."

Pat Long, curator of the monthly In the Pines folk night in London, says that the simplicity of folk appeals to people because "you don't need to know how to use Pro Tools or some other computer program to make it, you just need a guitar or ukulele".

Fleet Foxes Auditori, Teatre National, Carrer de Lepant 150, Barcelona, Spain 20:00 to 12:00 h.
